課程介紹
這門課程的教學內容主要是以高級英語單字的學習為主，並且特別針對托福、雅思考試的單字需求進行篩選，讓學生在考試中更有自信並且提升考試分數。課程中所提供的練習及單字測驗也有助於學生深化單字的印象和應用能力。

全英文授課
Max 是以英語為母語的老師，全程採用英文授課，不提供中文字幕，透過英文解釋英文，並搭配英文字幕，讓學生不僅能學習到上課的知識，更可以從老師的講解中學到更多的英文應用。

以主題為單元強化記憶
對於準備托福、雅思考試的人來說，掌握高頻率、較艱深的單詞是必不可少的。然而，單純地背誦單詞並不是一種有效的學習方式，很容易遺忘也無法應用。因此本課程採用以主題為單元的方式，將相關單詞進行分類，可以更好地理解單詞的關聯性，提高對單詞的記憶和理解，使學習更有組織性和系統性。本課程共 18 個主題，相關單字皆有使用方式及例句，部分搭配圖片更能加深對單字的印象，能夠大幅提高學習效率和學習成果。

多樣的學習資源
本課程內容豐富多樣，除了課程教學影片，還附有上課時筆記用的單詞表 PDF，可以印出後，一邊觀看課程影片，一邊記錄下課程內容及相關補充。上完課後，課程提供用於複習的音檔及文字稿，可以下載後隨時隨地收聽，充分利用瑣碎的時間加深所學的內容。多元化的學習方式，讓困難的單字也變得容易吸收，輕鬆達到學習目標！

單字的多種意思
當你看到 guinea pig 這個單詞，腦海中會冒出什麼想法呢？來自幾內亞的豬嗎？其實這個單詞跟 Guinea（幾內亞）以及 pig（豬）一點關係都沒有！大部分的人可能會知道的意思是「天竺鼠」，但在下面這個例句當中，把 guinea pig 翻譯成天竺鼠是不是又怪怪的呢？The professor was asking students in her classes if they wanted to be guinea pigs in her latest experiment.其實在科學研究領域裡面，guinea pig 也是一個常見的單詞唷，意思為「實驗對象」。在托福、雅思考試中，單詞的掌握程度直接關係到考試成績的好壞。一個單詞往往有多種不同的意思，這種多義性對於學習者來說是一個挑戰，也是一個機會。掌握單詞的不同含義能夠增強閱讀能力，更好地理解文章內容。例如 bitter 是一個常見的形容詞，最常用的意思是形容食物吃起來很苦，英文釋義是 (of food) having a strong taste that many people consider unpleasant. 但其實 bitter 也可以形容人的心情，(of people) angry and unhappy because you think that you have been treated unfairly.如果無法完全理解英文的釋義，可以搭配例句：1. He was very bitter after his divorce. 2. She's trying to think positively about things, because she doesn't want to become a bitter old woman.透過例句，不僅可以學會單詞的使用方式，也可以在作文中靈活應用。跟著 Max 老師不僅能學到更多單詞以及搭配詞，也能徹底了解一些多義性單詞所有的意思，看到考題時就不用再傻傻地懷疑自己是不是記錯單詞意思囉！
